Theme Park Injuries
I have had the privilege for 25 years of successfully representing individuals who have been injured while visiting the theme parks in Orlando and throughout the state. There are many causes for such injuries, slip and falls, vehicle collisions, ride operator negligence, improper ride design or operation and many other causes.
The one thing that you must know above all else is that once you have been injured at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens or any of the other attractions is that you will now experience the two sides of the attractions. While a visitor at the attraction you will see the happy, marketing side of the attraction. Now that you have been injured, you are dealing with the cold hard corporate side of the business. The attractions have a corporate policy of fighting these cases very aggressively as they do not want to be seen as paying claims easily and trying to scare off potential claims.
Everything that they will do from the moment you are injured will be to defend the corporation and prevent you from recovering for your injuries. This started when the park employee called in your injury, the paramedic or first aid station wrote your initial medical treatment slanted towards the cause of your injury having been your fault and that your injuries will be understated on the report. You have probably been contacted by someone from the risk management, who wanted a statement from you in regard to the incident; do not give them a statement if you have not already done so. This will only be used against you and will not help your case.
You will need an aggressive and experienced attorney to fight for your rights against the attractions as they know who will fight them to the end and who will not push them on a case. I have been successfully fighting and winning claims against Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and the other attractions and know how they will defend your case. Please call me to discuss you rights.
